Our friends at Dorset CPRE are organising a visit to Forde Abbey House and Garden, near Chard.  As this is almost in Somerset, we are happy to help share the news of this event. and CPRE Somerset members are very welcome.

A packed meeting in Taunton recently agreed that new roads are not the answer and that we must try to work together to find a better way forward.

2016 AGM & 90th birthday celebration

CPRE members and friends raised a glass to celebrate 90 years of CPRE at our 2016 AGM.  The meeting was held at Curry Rivel Old School Room on 13th October and was followed by a guided tour of Somerset Cider Brandy.

We were delighted to host an evening with Michael Eavis, founder of Glastonbury Festival and dairy farmer, in April 2016 at Pilton Village Hall.
