Middlezoy Village Hall, TA7 0PG

All welcome to this FREE event

CPRE has campaigned for many years to reduce light pollution and ensure that everyone can enjoy truly dark skies. This year, we are delighted to team up with our friends at Somerset Levels Stargazers to offer everyone the chance to spend a night with the stars!

Come to Middlezoy Village Hall and talk to the experts about what you see.  We will have telescopes set up on the playing field and binoculars to share and there will be plenty you can see, even with the naked eye.

Fingers crossed for a clear night but there will be indoor displays, celebrating the wonder of our dark skies, so we will go ahead, whatever the weather. Refreshments available in the hall so you can warm up with a nice, hot drink.

Exciting update!

We are delighted to say that Jo Richardson of Space Detectives will be joining us and offering some kids’ activities.  Jo is resident Astronomer at Exmoor National Park Dark Sky Reserve and spends her life sharing her enthusiasm and knowledge of the night sky with people of all ages.

No need to book – just turn up.  All are welcome to this FREE event, but donations would be appreciated, to cover costs.
