We had a hugely successful event in November 2021 exploring how we can all make Somerset a wilder, greener place where wildlife and communities can thrive.

The afternoon of talks, presentations and discussion was introduced by our President, Mariella Frostrup. We then had a great line up of speakers from Rewilding Britain, Somerset Wildlife Trust, South Somerset District Council and Horner Farm, who farm with the environment on Exmoor.

They shared rewilding success stories around the UK and also looked at real examples of smaller scale rewilding projects and sensitive land management just beginning here in Somerset and involving local communities.  We hope you were able to join us and now feel inspired and ready to take on your own rewilding challenge!

Thank you to everyone who came in person or who watched the event remotely as we live streamed it to YouTube.

If you missed it, you can catch up on it all here.  Each link will take you to a video of each of the presentations on our YouTube Channel
