1.00pm, Friday 21st November

Wells & Mendip Museum, 8 Cathedral Green, Wells BA5 2UE

CPRE was established in 1926. As we approach our centenary year, we want to celebrate CPRE’s achievements as well as looking forward to future challenges.

So, for our AGM this year, CPRE Chairman, Simon Murray, will join us to talk us through the first 100 years of CPRE since the pioneering days of 1926.

After the CPRE Somerset AGM proceedings and review of our year, we will share the exciting projects we have planned, here in Somerset, for 2026. Come and learn about our new awards scheme and new campaigns to put our Somerset countryside on the map.

We will serve tea and locally made cakes immediately after the meeting and we hope you will stay for a chat.

We do hope you can join us.  All are welcome so do bring a friend.  Places must be booked in advance.

The event is free of charge for CPRE members but we ask that non-members give a donation to help us cover costs of room hire and refreshments.

Please note: The museum closes at 4pm, so why not come early and make a day of it!, with a look around the museum as well!
