You can help to cut litter and pollution in Somerset without lifting a finger!

Our litter volunteers are working hard to clean up all corners of Somerset. We have volunteers from all backgrounds and all ages, from schoolchildren working on their Duke of Edinburgh Awards to people in their tenth decade! However, they do have one thing in common – they all hate litter and are prepared to do something about it.

So far, we have kitted out almost 200 volunteers around the county  – all represented on the map below.

Every blue marker represents one of our volunteers (up to date January 2023)

One by one, little by little, our volunteers are cleaning up their local patch and reducing pollution. You can read some of their volunteer stories here.

With your help we can give out more litterpicking kits and continue to grow our small army of volunteers.

Just £20 is enough to provide one volunteer with a grabber, a hi-viz vest, some protective gloves and a reusable cotton bag.

Your one-off gift will be used again and again to make a real difference to our environment in the months and years to come.

Just £20 from you will help us to make Somerset a cleaner, more beautiful place.  Thank you.
